Research Spotlight

First-of-Its-Kind IRB-Approved Study to Identify MS Using Voice

Canary Speech has partnered with Intermountain Ventures and Intermountain Health to launch the first IRB-approved study exploring whether vocal biomarkers can help identify Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Led by neurologist Dr. Timothy West, the research will analyze voice samples to determine if AI-driven speech patterns can detect early indicators of the disease. With MS affecting more than 2.9 million people worldwide, this study could pave the way for faster, non-invasive screening and earlier intervention.
